Submitted by Barb on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 13:27 In reply to the historian's column in the Summer Town Newsletter regarding the Byron Telephone Company: There is a story about it in the 1970 Sesquicentennial Book. According to that story, the Byron Telephone Company was in business from 1903 until 1933. Apparently at that time it was bought out by New York Telephone.
