Thank you so much for the New Road Signs on duckiesram Road. We moved here in 2005 and it was hard for our friends to find us.
Thanks a lot.

I really like seeing the newsletter back on line - now how about some of the meeting minutes and other stuff so we don't have to tromp down to the town office ???????

In reply to the historian's column in the Summer Town Newsletter regarding the Byron Telephone Company:
There is a story about it in the 1970 Sesquicentennial Book.
According to that story, the Byron Telephone Company was in business from 1903 until 1933. Apparently at that time it was bought out by New York Telephone.

Welcome to the new Byron Opinion page. We have finally replaced to old spam-prone page with a more versatile one. It is still in beta testing so, if you spot problems, please drop me an email.
Feel free to express your opinion on just about anything of interest to residents of our town. The only real rules are that you observe common courtesy and avoid profanity and unnecessarily rude conduct. We reserve the right to remove or edit any such postings and to permanently block the senders in extreme cases.
Let us know what you think and have an awesome day!
