March Town Hall Hours

Mondays and Tuesdays: 9 am - 1 pm and 4 pm - 7 pm
Thursdays: 2 pm - 7 pm 

Tax Collector:

Tuesdays: 4:30 pm to 7 pm
Wednesdays: 10 am - 1 pm & 2 pm - 6 pm
Saturdays: 9 am - noon
 Tax payments can be made using the drop box at any time.

SENIOR CITIZEN TAX EXEMPTION: Genesee County is expected to increase the income level for this exemption to $32,200 (total gross income of all owners.) However, this change will NOT be finalized until the February 28th, 2024 county legislature public hearing and the exemption forms are due on March 1st, 2024. Not much time to complete, but feel free to fill out the exemption now and drop it off at the Town Hall or in the drop box in the entry way.  Applications can be found on the counter at the Town Clerk's office or can be downloaded here. Apologies for the extremely late notice, but we were just informed ourselves.  The press release from the County can be found here.

Byron Water Project Update

Effective 1/1/24, Monroe County Water Authority has increased their meter and account fee by $20. They will be mailing updated applications to the residents who have not yet made payment to MCWA to be able to get a tap and a curb stop installed by the water district contractors. The total payment is now $260.

Town Supervisor Candace Hensel will hold office hours during the following times:
